CSH276 Certified Nurse Aide Training
This 77 hour course meets the state and federal guidelines for Nurse’s Aide Training and is approved by the Department of Public Health. Prepare for employment in a long-term care institution and be eligible to take the Nurse Aide Certifying exam.
Students must:
- Be 18 years old or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Take an assessment test and score within set guidelines
- Be CPR certified before clinical
- Submit a copy of their license or ID
- Have a CORI check completed (by MWCC)
- Have proof of current TB test (within one year)
- Have at least two Hepatitis B shots before clinical
- Have a signed health release form

CSES101 English as a Second Language for Healthcare
Designed for non-native speaking students pursuing careers in healthcare. Students will read, write, speak and listen specifically within the context of healthcare. Book included.
CSH 348 First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Get certified on three health responders’ requirements.
CSPD755 Meeting the Spiritual Needs of Patients
Prepares nursing staff and caregivers to respond effectively to the spiritual needs of patients within their care. This course includes: providing a framework for spiritual care, reviewing professional standards, identifying barriers to care, criteria for spiritual distress, guidelines for intervention, reportable conditions, and developing care plans.
CSPD748 Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
For individuals interested in learning Adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillation, and First Aid. The course covers caring for cardiac and choking emergencies, controlling bleeding, injuries to muscles, bones and joints, sudden illnesses, and environmental injuries. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. Certification for CPR/AED is valid for one year and First Aid certification is valid for three years.
CSPD749 First Aid, Adult CPR/AED, and Infant/Child CPR
Be able to respond quickly in an emergency for adults, children and infants. Learn CPR and Automated External Defibrillation for Adult/Child plus Infant CPR and First Aid. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. CPR/AED certification is valid for one year. First Aid certification is valid for three year.
CSPD750 CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
For the individual who has the duty to respond. This course includes Adult/Infant and Child CPR skills with a higher level of training in two-rescuer CPR, use of a bag valve mask and airway management techniques, bloodborne pathogen training, and adult and pediatric Automated External Defibrillation training. This course is appropriate for EMTs, nurses, nursing students, doctors, lifeguards, ski patrollers and police and fire personnel. Participants are required to pass written and skills testing to receive certification. Students will receive a current text and pocket mask. Certification is valid for one year. This course meets all ECC Guidelines 2005.
