Art Project
A collaboration between the LIFE Program and an elementary school. Artists of various genres are matched with two students and meet once a week, two hours, six weeks. This project is offered in the fall.
Writing Project
Matches one senior writer with one young writer who correspond via email. Suggested topics are given but writers are free to select their own. A great experience as the writers find different points of view on the same subject. Encourages expression and brings the populations together.
Arts/Poetry, New Pilot Project
Students from Gardner High School's Poetry Club are invited to write poetry for senior artists. The artists will select one of the poems from the partner pairing and create an artwork that the poem inspires.
