Regional Adult Education Center
The Regional Adult Education Center at MWCC offers Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED preparation, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at a location near you:
- Devens
- Gardner
- Leominster
- Fitchburg
- Winchendon
All day and evening classes are available on an “open-entry” basis. These classes are free of charge and are funded by grants received from the Department of Education, Employment Links, and the Robinson Broadhurst Foundation.

From Route 2 East
Take Exit 37; you will be on Jackson Rd. In approximately 1 mile, you will pass through a blinking light at Lake George St./Patton Rd. Go through the light; your next left will bring you into our parking lot. There is a sign – Mount Wachusett community College—Home of the BioManufacturing Program.
From Route 2 West
Take Exit 37B; you will be on Jackson Rd. In approximately 1 mile, you will pass through a blinking light at Lake George St./Patton Rd. Go through the light; your next left will bring you into our parking lot. There is a sign – Mount Wachusett community College—Home of the BioManufacturing Program.

From Fitchburg and points East
Route 2 West to Route 140 North (Exit 24B) in Westminster, just past Tyco (previously
Simplex) plant on right (50miles from Boston). Exit sign reads: 140 North
to Winchendon and Ashburnham. Proceed three miles on Route 140. You will
pass through two traffic lights. Proceed one-half mile past the second light
and take a left turn onto Mathews Street. The college entrance is one mile
on the right.
From Western and Central Massachusetts
Route 2 east to Route 140 North (Exit 24) Westminster. Turn left at the end
of the exit ramp. Proceed three miles on Route 140. You will pass through
two traffic lights. Proceed one-half mile past the second light and take
a left turn onto Mathews Street. The college entrance is one mile on the
right.

From Route 2
Take Exit 31A (Route 12 South). Go through two lights. Just before the third
light, bear right onto Washington Street. The Synagogue is one block down
on your right. The Synagogue is the one-story brick building on the right
immediately after McKay Street. Drive around to the back and use the back
door.

From Route 2
Take Exit 31B (Route 12 North). Travel north on Route 12 for 2.8 miles, then
turn right immediately after Enterprise Car Rental. Turn right again, on
Main St., after crossing the bridge. Take the second left onto North Street
(at the Dunkin’ Donuts). The college is located three blocks up. Continue
straight through the campus until you come to Rindge Road on your left. Bear
left onto Rindge Road, take a right into the McKay Campus parking lot and
continue to the far left side of the parking lot. Enter in door closest to
the softball field and follow the MWCC signs.
