Transfer Opportunities

A great benefit to starting your first two years at MWCC is that you save the cost of attending all four years at a 4-year college or university. According to The College Board’s statistics*, students taking general education courses at a community college end up saving 63% of the cost, on average, than taking the same courses at a public, in-state college.

Articulation/Transfer Agreements

To date, the Human Services Program has Articulation/Transfer (2 + 2) Agreements with:

  • Elms College for transfer to the B.A. Degree Completion Program in Psychology (20 month program held evenings at MWCC Gardner Campus – began August 2013)
  • Assumption College for transfer to the Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Rehabilitative Studies (HSRS) degree program through Continuing and Career Education (CCE)
  • Springfield College School of Human Services (Boston campus) for transfer into the Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services
  • Cambridge College for transfer into the Bachelor of Science in Human Services Program
  • Becker College for transfer into the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program
  • Hesser College for transfer into the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology
  • Charter Oak State College – all MWCC programs transfer in
  • University of Phoenix – associate degree-related courses, subject to certain limitations, will automatically transfer
