Welcome to MWCC!

Join Us for MWCC's Smart Start Registration Event

As a new or returning degree-seeking student to Mount Wachusett Community College, your third step to enroll in courses is to attend a Smart Start Registration Event. At Smart Start, you will receive vital information on how to maximize your achievement as a college student and you will work with our advising staff to develop your educational goals and success paths. For more details on our Smart Start Registration Events, please visit
www.mwcc.edu/advising/advising-at-mwcc/smartstart.

Before you attend Smart Start, you must either complete a Placement Test (CPT) or provide transcripts of completed college-level courses. Placement Test scores are valid for three years from the original testing date. If you need to schedule a College Placement Test, please contact Testing Services at 978-630-9244. You will not be able to register for classes at the event if we do not have either your test scores or prior college transcripts on file. Our Advisors will review your test scores and/or prior college transcripts at the event and discuss with you your enrollment options.

We offer options to attend a Smart Start at any of our campuses. You may register for classes on any campus, including online classes, at any event. To register for a Smart Start event on the Leominster campus, please call 978-630-9812 or email leominster@mwcc.edu. Sign-up links for Gardner and Devens events can be found below.

If you have any questions about your Smart Start event, or are looking to determine your readiness to attend, please contact the Admissions Office at 978-630-9110 or email admissions@mwcc.edu. We look forward to helping you get started!
