High School Equivalency Test (formerly GED)

Mount Wachusett Community College will offer the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET™) in both the paper and computer base version. Students must be at least sixteen years of age to test and students must have a valid picture id. Students who are under the age of eighteen must obtain a withdraw letter from the last high school they attended stating they officially withdrew. Students must register online at www.hiset/ets.org or call ETS customer service at 1-855-694-4738.

More Flexible

The HiSET™ program is available in English or Spanish and in paper-based and computer-based format; the computer-based exams feature a test-taker-friendly design. The program also provides a number of accommodations for test takers with disabilities and health related needs. To apply for accommodations go to hisetssd@ets.org or call 1-855-802-2748.

More Affordable

Not only does the HiSET™ exam cost less than other tests, but you get more for your money — including free practice tests to help you prepare as well as two retests per subtest at a discounted price of $10.00 each if taken within a 12-month period when you buy the full battery of HiSET™ tests for the cost of $100.00. If you choose to purchase each subtest separately the total cost will be $130.00 and this does not include the retest fee of $15.00 per test.

To schedule your HiSET™ exams today go to www.hiset/ets.org or call 1-855-694-4738. (Information was taken directly from ETS/ HiSET™ website @ www.hiset/ets.org)
