Click to learn about online Academic Passes for MWCC students and faculty

The MWCC Center for Civic Learning and Community Engagement is pleased to provide The New York Times on campus for faculty to integrate into classroom discussions and to assist in delivering relevancy to our students regarding the content taught in the classroom.

One of the primary drivers behind the decision to bring the Times to MWCC was a 2011 TED Talk by Eli Pariser titled “Beware Online Filter Bubbles”. It’s an issue about which we should all be keenly aware, as more and more of our students are getting their news and their information from their smartphones and selective websites.
