Each year, MWCC recognizes the outstanding service of our graduates.
IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR 2015 GRADUATING STUDENTS:
All Spring 2015 internship, service learning, and MWCC-affiliated volunteer hours must be reported by Wednesday, May 6, 2015 to be eligible for the MWCC Service Recognition Program.

Service Reporting Deadlines
All Spring 2015 internships, service learning, and MWCC-affiliated volunteer hours must be reported to the Center for Civic Learning by:
Wednesday, May 6, 2015 (the final day of classes for full semester courses)*
Faculty approvals of such timesheets are due no later than Friday, May 15, 2015
*MWCC-affiliated volunteerism during the Spring 2015 semester can be reported through Monday, June 30, 2015 for all students. Hours reported by 2015 graduating students after May 6th will not be counted toward the Service Recognition Program but will be noted on the student’s transcript if submitted and approved by June 30th, 2015.
Timesheets for all Fall 2014 internships, service learning projects, and MWCC-affiliated volunteerism must have been submitted to the Center for Civic Learning by:
Tuesday, December 16, 2014 (the final day of classes for full semester courses)
Faculty or staff approvals of such timesheets are due no later than Wednesday, December 24, 2014
Information about student community service is collected and reported to the Corporation for National and Community Service and has helped MWCC achieve the Carnegie Classification in Community Engagement and Outreach and Partnerships, as well as earn the Presidents Community Service Honor Roll each year since its inception in 2006. The data is also used to assist in leveraging funding and support for new civic engagement and service learning initiatives.
