Service Reporting Deadlines

For students who will graduate in May 2014 (including students who completed their programs in December 2013 and will participate in the May 2014 Graduation ceremony, as well as students who expect to complete their programs by August 2014 and who have been authorized to participate in the May 2014 Graduation ceremony):

Monday, April 28, 2014*

For all other students:

Monday, June 30, 2014

Students who undertake service learning projects for 2014 “Maymester” or Summer courses are exempt from the Monday, June 30th, 2014 reporting deadline.

*Graduating students may continue to report service hours through the Monday, June 30, 2014 deadline for all students, but those hours will not accrue toward service pins and medallions.  Please click here for additional guidance.

Information about student community service is collected and reported to the Corporation for National and Community Service and has helped MWCC achieve the Carnegie Classification in Community Engagement and Outreach and Partnershipsas well as earn the Presidents Community Service Honor Roll each year since its inception in 2006. The data is also used to assist in leveraging funding and support for new civic engagement and service learning initiatives.
