The following
list of tapes and transcripts is the result of a project done through
the Massachusetts Heritage State Parks. The “Shifting
Gears” project in Gardner resulted in interviews with Gardner people
who spoke about the shift from the “smokestack” economy to
the “service” economy in Gardner. Some of these interviews
relate to the Gardner area furniture industry. UMass Lowell has tapes
