For twenty-four years Becky was the lead graphic designer, stone carver and proprietor of Gerry Granite Works where she designed and carved hundreds of granite memorials, signs, benches, podiums and plaques. Her customers included individuals, municipalities, police and fire departments, schools, businesses, and organizations across Massachusetts and beyond. She has worked with State Senators and Representatives designing granite memorials honoring individuals who were instrumental in Women’s Rights and Child Welfare Laws, has been featured in several Worcester County newspaper articles and her business was twice featured
in articles in national granite industry magazines.

In 1995 when the drafting table gave way to computerized design she quickly embraced the changes seeing the tremendous benefits of the new technology. In addition to her work at the granite works she opened R Gerry Design, creating web and print projects for a variety of businesses and organizations throughout the area and on Cape Cod. Becky is a member and past-president of the Greater Gardner Jaycee Women and served on the Advisory Board for the Computer Graphic Design Program at MWCC. In 2007 she began teaching Web Design at MWCC and since then has continued to teach, develop and update her Web courses to reflect the newest trends in the industry.

An alumni of MWCC and Clark University, Emily is excited for the opportunity to teach future generations of designers the tricks that she has picked up along the way. Her past experience working as an in-house marketing associate for both an early college access program and a local art history museum has left her with a wide arrange of design experience, including but not limited to vinyl banners, self-mailers, and annual reports, logo design, web design, and social media graphics.

In addition, she runs her own freelance design company, Arts+Graphs Design Studio, whose business includes clients such as Wachusett Mountain Ski Area. A huge fan of outdoor adventure, she hopes to eventually have a key-role in designing for a program which helps to coach adolescents in outdoors leadership skills.
