We Work With Local Manufacturing Companies
We have a wide pool of employers with which we partner. They assist with program development, and provide feedback on course content and facilities tours for our students. Our employer partners hire program graduates and participate in speed interviewing and career fair events. They also provide job leads to students and graduates. From this active group of partners, we pulled together an advisory board that has a direct influence on our programs and students’ success in their careers.
Program OpportunitiesWe offer short-term, accelerated programs you can complete in as little as 2 weeks, as well as 6-week, 1-year, and 2-year options that fit your life and employment needs. All of our programs provide you with support services that help you apply, interview and get a job in a career field with tremendous job growth opportunity.

Quality Systems Training
The Quality Systems Training Program is a short-term (2 week) intensive noncredit training course to prepare students for jobs in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, for a variety of manufacturing industries including biopharmaceutical processing, medical device manufacturing and others.
Students who successfully complete this training program will be prepared to seek positions requiring knowledge of regulated and international quality systems, continuous improvement techniques, and understanding of the tools used to have a positive impact on an employer’s bottom line.
This program is designed to provide skills necessary to become a Quality Assurance or Quality Control Associate employed by manufacturing companies in a variety of business sectors.

The Mechatronics Certificate is a new program offered at the Devens Campus of Mount Wachusett Community College. The one year certificate program will prepare you for positions in local manufacturing companies that utilize automated, computer controlled production systems.
This program is designed to provide skills necessary to become a Machine Operator or Manufacturing Technician employed by companies utilizing advanced automation tools. Mechatronics is an emerging field that integrates electrical and mechanical systems and incorporates computer control and information technology. The name arises from the combination of mechanics and electronics and is a product of the importance of automation and robotics in modern manufacturing processes. In this program you will earn principles, design, and control of mechanical and electrical systems.×
Industry Readiness Training
The Industry Readiness Training (IRT) Program is a short-term (6 week) intensive non-credit training program developed with industry employers to prepare students for entry to mid-level jobs in the local, diverse advanced manufacturing industry.
Students completing the IRT will work with Career Development Counselors to find employment that matches student experience and new skills to local manufacturing opportunities. Past students have gained positions in: Production, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics & Inventory Control

Analytical Lab & Quality Systems Certificate
Start your Advanced Manufacturing career today! The Analytical Laboratory & Quality Systems Certificate is a new program offered at the Devens campus of Mount Wachusett Community College. The one year certificate program will prepare students to gain entry level positions as laboratory and quality technicians for organizations requiring measurement and documentation of quality attributes following standardized and/or regulated procedures.×
