Service learning gives students the opportunity to perform community service as part of club or organization activities, or, as part of coursework for a class. Some service learning projects Computer Information Systems students have participated in include:
- Student drop-in help center
- Student-led workshops
- Student study group sessions
- LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation
Working with staff to get computers set up and online and then teaching residents to use the Internet and email.
