The college offers a wide range of opportunities for students to gain from their co-curricular experiences in the same way that they do from their classroom experiences. Leadership training programs are offered that allow you to develop your leadership skills for “real life” experiences. Opportunities for volunteering on campus or in local agencies are available so that you can get involved in your new community and play an active role in other people’s lives.
Getting involved has its rewards too! Not only do you receive the satisfaction of having made a difference in another person’s life, but participating in activities like these may improve your chances of transferring to another college after graduation, receiving scholarships to pay for college, and improving your career prospects once you’ve finished college.
