The Drowsy Chaperone

A modern day musical theatre addict drops the needle on his favorite LP – the 1928 musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone. From the crackle of his hi-fi, the musical magically bursts to life on-stage telling the tale of a pampered Broadway starlet who wants to give up show business to get married, her producer who sets out to sabotage the nuptials, her chaperone, the debonair groom, the dizzy chorine, the Latin lover and a pair of gangsters who double as pastry chefs.

Starring: David Allen Prescott as Man in Chair, Chelsea Young, Gloria Oliver, Mark LeBlanc Peterson, Kyle Carlson, Thom Hardy, Robert Olivier, Amanda Carpenito, Craig Cormier, Rob Houle, Michelle Caissey and an ensemble of singers and dancers.

Join us on a magical journey as Dorothy is swept away by a tornado to the Land of Oz. Scarecrow, Tin man and Lion escort her as they Ease On Down the Road to meet The Wiz. She will need some help to find her way Home in this soulful R&B adaptation of L. Frank Baum's classic story, adapted into a musical that is fun for the whole family.

Starring: Emily Xarras as Dorothy and Danny Rodriguez, Cameron Moylan, Andrew Kelley, Tom Moretti, Wesley Young, Allison Doyle, Paige Crane and a large ensemble of teens and children.

Rent

Based on Puccini's opera La Boheme, Rent tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City. In 1996, Rent won the Pulitzer Prize for drama and was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, taking home four, including Best Musical.

The Pied Piper

The local school is performing The Pied Piper and the “Mayor” isn’t ready! The play within a play teaches children about having a good attitude, and the importance of keeping promises, told through the story of Hamelin and its rat problem. The swinging title song, the toe-tapping duet, You’ve Gotta Have Two, and the fun-for-all, We Are the Rats, are all included in this entertaining show.
