MWCC Foundation Continues STEM Support for Leominster Schools

Mount Wachusett Community College Foundation recently presented $3,500 to the Leominster Education Foundation to continue the college’s strong support of the Leominster Public School’s S.T.E.M. Integration Program K-12 and Innovative Mini Grants for Teachers. MWCC’s support will help prepare and inspire students to meet the challenges of the global society through innovation, collaboration and creative problem solving.

The Leominster Education Foundation expanded its vision to include student scholarships, support for innovative schools, community-wide literacy, STEM education and to develop two capital campaigns; an early childhood center and new athletic fields behind the high school.
