Balancing Family and School: A Student-Parent Workshop - Tuesday 3:00 PM
Presenter: Ann Reynolds, CCAMPIS Coordinator/Academic Disability Counselor
Student-parents are one of the fastest-growing populations on college campuses across the nation. At MWCC, approximately 1 in every 4 students is raising a family. This workshop offers strategies to help the student-parent be successful in managing their time, while balancing both family responsibilities and school work. You’re here now...what’s next? - You’ve made the first step in your education, so now what is your ultimate goal? Our Admissions team and Advising, Career & Transfer (ACT) Advisors will discuss some of your options. After graduation, you may want to: pursue a job and career goals right after graduation; transfer to a 4-year College; or perhaps stay at the Mount and enroll in a selective program. Financial Aid - Thursday 3:00 PM

Paying for college isn’t easy. Understanding how to pay for college is even more difficult. This session will focus on helping students understand financial aid, student loans, and other ways to finance your education while you are at MWCC and as you think about continuing your education at a four-year (more expensive!) institution in the future.
