|Student Services Drop-in Session||A good, strong start is the key to any college student’s success. Join the Dean of Students, members of Student Services, and other special guests to learn more about MWCC. These sessions will explore the best ways to get started and answer any questions that you may have. This is also a great opportunity to meet other students.

|Student Life Drop-In Session||Are you hoping to get involved at MWCC this semester? Would you like to join a student organization? Are you looking for opportunities to receive leadership training or attend informative workshops? Then Student Life is the place to look. The Student Life Office hosts a variety of programs throughout the year such as performers, leadership training, hands-on activities, fun events and so much more. |Orientation for Human Services & Substance Abuse Counseling Students||Welcome to incoming, transfer and returning students in the Human Services Degree and Certificate Programs and the Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate Program. We invite you to attend an orientation via Zoom where you can meet faculty, explore the degree and certificate requirements, the curriculum and the fields of human services and substance abuse counseling in general. We will also identify and show you how to access the many resources that the college offers to support your success. We are happy to have you attend and will provide time to answer your questions. |Veterans Briefing||Expect to be brought up to date on how Veterans Services works with our student veterans. Led by Bob Mayer, Director of Veteran Services. Also on-hand will be representatives of the DAV and the Montachusett Veteran Outreach Center.||2 pm – 3 pm on Zoom|
|Being a First-Generation College Student||More than half of MWCC students are the first ones in their families to go to college and many encounter obstacles such as understanding financial aid and paying for school, navigating college expectations, and feeling connected to the college. During this dialogue, we’ll discuss the common challenges first generation students face when going to college, how to overcome these challenges and available college resources.||12:30 on Zoom|
|Business Administration Students||Join our Business Department Orientation and meet your full time professors. Ask questions about your program of study too.||11:00 am on Zoom|
|Disability Services – Accessibility Matters||At MWCC we recognize disability as a valued component of human diversity. We welcome you to join us for this interactive workshop to learn more about Disability Support Services and the accommodation process. We will also explore and share strategies on how to be successful in a remote learning environment. We believe in empowering everyone to be an advocate for accessibility! Presenters in this session will be Amy LaBarge, Coordinator of Disability Services, and Ann Reynolds, Academic Disability Counselor.||11:00 am on Zoom|
|PTA Students||This MANDATORY information session is specific to the PTA program where you will meet members of the PTA Program faculty, administration, and staff and gain valuable information about requirements that you must meet in order to enroll and succeed in the PTA Program. Please bring a copy of your class schedule, which will be available on iConnect later this month. Also, it is very important that you carefully read and review the attached documents (Welcome Letter & Student Handbook) PRIOR to attending the orientation session; please bring any questions or concerns about these resources with you such that we may answer and discuss them with the group.||9:00 am – Noon Gardner Campus Room 342|

The Early Childhood (all programs- ECC, ECT, ECE, LAEL, ECEC) department will be holding 2 orientations, one in the evening, as so many of our students are working.
