Our Transfer Services team supports students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college or university. We assist with exploring transfer options, understanding articulation agreements, preparing applications, and connecting with visiting transfer representatives. Our transfer advisors meet with students early in their college experience to review their goals and help them select the right courses to transfer to the four-year college they choose.

Academic Supports
Academic Advisors play a key role in helping students navigate their college experience. Advisors work one-on-one with students to plan course schedules, select or change a major, explore career and academic pathways, and understand degree requirements. They also help students stay on track for graduation and connect with additional campus resources such as tutoring, financial aid, and student support services.
The Learning Success Center encompasses MWCC’s free tutoring and academic support, the LaChance Library, and Testing Services. Together, the services provided by these teams are designed to strengthen learning strategies, build confidence, and support student success. The Learning Success Center offers free academic support services designed to help students succeed in their coursework. Students can access tutoring, academic coaching, and study skills assistance across a wide range of subjects. The center focuses on building strong learning strategies, increasing confidence, and supporting long-term academic success.
The mission of MWCC Testing Services is to provide the campus community with securely monitored testing venues that support the ongoing learning process. Testing Services provides placement testing, testing with accommodations, ATI TEAS, GED/HiSET, Pearson VUE, Accuplacer, CLEP (College Level Examination Program), and approved make-up exams in a professional, accessible environment to support your academic progress.
TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded program that provides comprehensive academic support to eligible students.
