Announcing our STEM Week Climate Change Essay Contest Winners

In celebration of STEM week, area high school students Abigail Garlock, a junior at Oakmont Regional High School, and Sierra Richard, a junior at Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School, were recently awarded Mount Wachusett Community College scholarships from the MWCC Foundation, Inc. to be used toward a dual enrollment courses while in high school or a certificate or degree program upon matriculation at MWCC.  Garlock and Richard’s were among many essays submitted in MWCC’s STEM Week essay contest, in which three scholarships were awarded to local high school students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  Both Richard and Garlock have interest in climate change and education.
