Over thirty companies and organizations will be participating in a job fair held at Mount Wachusett Community College’s Gardner campus on Wednesday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event, which is sponsored by the Career Services/Experiential and Service Learning Department at the college, will provide students and community members with an opportunity to explore career options and learn about job openings in a diverse range of fields. At last year’s job fair, more than 250 students and visitors attended.
Full-time, part-time, temporary and summer positions will be available from the following organizations in attendance: Appleseed Personnel, Bemis Worldwide, BNY Mellon, Cheshire Medical Center, Department of Correction, Devereux, Department of Youth Services, Enterprise Bank, Favreau Forestry, Federal Medical Devens, Fitchburg Police Department, GAAMHA, Gandara, Great Wolf Lodge, HealthAlliance, Heywood Hospital, Key Program, LUK, Masy BioServices, MOC, MWCC Access & Transition, Open Sky, Perkins, Pumpkin Brook Organic Gardening, Recovery Centers of America, Resourcesoft, Inc., ScribeAmerica, Seven Hills, TaraVista, UMass Memorial Community Healthlink, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Business, and YOU, Inc.
The event is open to the public beginning at 11:30 a.m. and will run until 1 p.m. Students may attend the event beginning at 10:30 a.m. The job fair will be held in the college’s South Cafe.
