Local author and TEDx speaker Maria Milagros will deliver the keynote address during the Mount Wachusett Community College Virtual Commencement on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
“In her work as an author, life coach and storyteller, Maria is known for finding hope in situations that are not particularly hopeful, for finding gratitude every day – even bad days – making her the perfect voice for us in this unprecedented moment.” stated MWCC President James Vander Hooven.
Maria Milagros is an award-winning speaker, award-nominated author, TEDx speaker, storyteller and empowerment life coach. Whether sharing her life experience and knowledge through impactful talks, workshops, leadership training, life coaching or videos, she uses stories to bring encouragement and education to others.
“I am so honored and excited to be a part of this celebration of the graduates, and of everyone who participated in supporting them along the way, especially at a time like this,” notes Maria. “This is a celebration of possibility, and of the human spirit.”
MWCC will celebrate its 53rd Commencement with a virtual live stream event at mwcc.edu/live-tv on May 20, 2020 at 6 pm.
