Registration is now open for Mount Wachusett Community College’s Lifelong Learning spring courses with new offerings such as Cannabis Certificate programs and returning favorites such as Speed Spanish and CPR.
The Mount’s Lifelong Learning program courses are open to anyone who is interested in learning a new skill, exploring the community, and meeting new people. These classes also provide students with the opportunity to earn certifications to support their career.
Courses offered this spring through MWCC’s Lifelong Learning division include several new topics for those interested in crafts, writing, and technology. The new “Smarter Smartphone Photography” course will help learners take the best possible pictures with their smartphones. The intensive “Write Your First Novel in 90 Days” online course will help students through the planning and writing of their first novel. The popular golf courses are back, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced offered. These courses and other listings for spring can be found at mwcc.edu/LLL.
The course list is constantly growing and changing to accommodate people of all ages. Community education courses are offered virtually as well as in-person to ensure lifelong learning is accessible to everyone. Courses are reasonably priced, and senior citizens are eligible for tuition/fee discounts. These courses are a great way to achieve personal growth, find a new passion, and meet like-minded people.
Community members with an interest in sharing their expertise as an instructor in our Lifelong Learning programs are encouraged to submit their course ideas to lll@mwcc.mass.edu.
