Art Club Holds Virtual Demonstrations
This spring with remote learning and social distancing, the Art Club students continued to meet online by offering a series of critiques and art demonstrations given by students and faculty using online video conferencing. The virtual events will continue through summer to keep everyone connected. They are open to all students, the public and announced on the Art Dept. Facebook page.
In a recent virtual event, art student Jude Aubuchon gave a portrait drawing demonstration, and in another, faculty member Thomas Matsuda demonstrated the carving of Buddhist sculptures in wood (below).
