GEAR UP Tours Harvard University

On October 6, 2022, 27 GEAR UP Sophomores and Juniors took a tour of Harvard University. They learned about the history of the school, academic concentrations, and residential life. As an extra surprise, students also met with Bruna Biz, FHS ’22, who spoke with students about her transition to college and gave students excellent advice on finding their passions and making sure to highlight them on their college applications. Emma Brassard, Fitchburg High’s College and Career Coordinator, also joined us. We will likely run another Harvard visit in the spring due to overwhelming interest from our students!
