The Mount Wachusett Community College East Wing Gallery is thrilled to announce the arrival of an exhibit by renowned artist Jenny Vogel. Opening October 9th, Vogel’s installation promises to captivate audiences with its innovative blend of digital art and interactive experiences.

Jenny Vogel, a distinguished artist known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary art, brings her latest collection to the MWCC East Wing Gallery. Her work explores themes of identity, technology, and the human experience, using multimedia elements to engage viewers on a profound level.

“We are excited to host Jenny Vogel’s exhibit at our gallery,” said Joyce Miller, Department Chair and Director of MWCC East Wing Gallery. “Her ability to merge digital art with thought-provoking narratives creates a unique experience for our visitors.”

Vogel’s exhibit will feature a series of interactive installations, video projections, and digital compositions that invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with technology and self-expression. Through her use of cutting-edge techniques and poignant imagery, Vogel challenges conventional notions of art and reality.

Visitors can expect to be immersed in Vogel’s artistic vision, where each piece encourages reflection and exploration. The exhibit will run until October 31st, ensuring ample time for all interested parties to visit and engage with this exceptional display of contemporary art.

Jenny Vogel lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been screened and exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in numerous locations and galleries: Storefront Gallery, NYC; The Dallas Museum of Art, TX; McKinney Contemporary, TX; San Francisco Camerawork, CA; Arnolfini, UK; The Siberia Biennial, Russia; The Swiss Institute, NYC; EFA Gallery, NYC; Kunstwerke, Berlin; PS1 Contemporary Art Center, NYC. She received her MFA from Hunter College (NYC) in 2003. She is a 2005 NYFA fellow in Computer Arts and is currently Associate Professor and Department Chair of Studio Art at the University of Massachusetts. Jenny Vogel is an internationally recognized artist whose work spans video, photography, and new media. Her installations have been featured in galleries and museums worldwide, earning acclaim for their innovative approach to digital storytelling and artistic expression.
