This required orientation event will give you the tools and information you need to get off to a terrific start in September and help you have a successful semester!

All students attending MWCC for the first time in the fall 2024 semester are required to attend the New Student Welcome orientation day. This includes students transferring in from another college or university, students beginning the PN (practical nursing) program, and any returning student who has been away from MWCC for more than two semesters.

We structured this event in order to meet students’ varying schedules. You can choose the morning or afternoon session, and also attend the lunchtime session.  MWCC offers a limited Child Watch Service for students which will be available during the New Student Welcome morning session. Child Watch space is limited and will be offered on a first-come basis through your event registration.

If you are able, please bring with you whatever technology devices (laptop, tablet, phone) you will be using for your coursework, this will provide you an opportunity to ensure that you can connect to the college Wi-Fi and have access to any necessary college programs.
