Programming Highlights

  • MWCC Tech Session: Discover the ins and outs of MWCC technology, including iConnect, InvolveMount, and Blackboard (MWCC’s Learning Management System). This session will help you get a head start on navigating these essential tools online.
  • Student Panel: Gain real insights from students just like you! This is your chance to hear their tips and ask questions.
  • Learning Success Center & Library: Meet your academic support team and learn about resources designed to help you thrive.
  • Academic & Career Community Exploration: Find out what it takes to reach your academic milestones and start planning your future.
  • Student Support & Student Life Resources: Connect with the Dean of Students Office to learn about campus resources and ways to get involved in MWCC’s vibrant student life!

And don’t miss the Optional Essentials Campus Tour and Walk Your Schedule session! End the day by getting comfortable with your class locations and navigating the campus with staff ready to assist you.

Check-In: Begins at 12:30 PM

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Welcome and Opening Remarks – South Café

1:30 PM – 2:15 PM: Student Panel – South Café

2:20 PM – 3:15 PM: MWCC Tech Session (55 minutes) – Various Classrooms
Attendees will log in with their student credentials and receive an overview of iConnect, InvolveMount, and Blackboard. Groups will be split by familiarity with technology.

3:20 PM – 3:50 PM: Learning Success Center & Library Services – Library

3:50 PM – 4:00 PM: Break

4:05 PM – 4:35 PM: Academic and Career Community Session – Various Classrooms

4:40 PM – 5:10 PM: Student Support Services & Student Life – South Café

5:10 PM – 5:30 PM: Essentials Campus Tour and Walk Your Schedule
