Mount Wachusett Community College and UMass Lowell to Host Cybersecurity Breakfast at Devens

(DEVENS)—Larry Wilson, a nationally recognized leader in adapting cybersecurity platforms to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework, will be the keynote speaker at a cybersecurity breakfast, Friday, September 27, from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the Devens Common Center (31 Andrews Parkway, Devens, MA). The breakfast is presented in collaboration with the Nashoba Valley and North Central Massachusetts Chambers of Commerce as well as Mass Development at Devens. Pre-registration required, $10 fee.

The NIST Framework consists of voluntary standards, guidelines, and practices to promote the protection of critical infrastructure. The prioritized, flexible, repeatable, and cost-effective approach of the Framework helps owners and operators of critical infrastructure to manage cybersecurity-related risk.
