MWCC Student Government President Awarded For Dedication To Leadership And Service

On October 20th and 21st a group of students from the MWCC Student Government Association attended the Community College Student Leadership Association (CCSLA) Fall Conference where they were able to connect with over 120 students from all Massachusetts community colleges as well as community colleges in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. This annual event provides student leaders with the opportunity to network and share insights and best practices with one another.

At this year’s conference our own SGA President, Faith Kurtz, received the Lisa Milso Acts of Kindness Award for recognition as an emerging student leader, her commitment to service and dedication to MWCC students. This is the third year in a row that an MWCC SGA member has received top honors from CCSLA.
