General Admission Application

If you are a new student or transfer student, this application is for you. Our free online application takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete and we do not require an essay or test scores!

This application is for those students who are applying from a country other than the United States (F1 Student VISA). 

Application Deadlines

International Requirements

  1. Complete MWCC International Student Admission Application
  2. An official copy of secondary/high school record or foreign equivalent - submitted as originals OR certified copies. If documents are not in English, an official translation must be submitted along with your documents. Foreign documents must be evaluated and translated by a US evaluation company like the Spantran - MWCC Pathway (offers discounted services), Center for Educational Documentation (CED) or World Education Services (WES). A list of additional evaluation services is available at www.naces.org/members
  3. If English is not the official language of your home country and you have not yet completed a college-level English course, you are required to provide proof of your English proficiency:
    1. Official TOEFL scores sent directly from Educational Testing Service www.ets.org/toefl OR
    2. Official IELTS score sent to us directly from www.ielts.org.
  4. Copy of your current I-20, as well as any previous I-20s issued to you, if applicable.
  5. Copy of your current visa and I-94 card, as well as any extensions or previous changes of visa status since your last entry into the United States if applicable.
  6. Official Affidavit of Financial Support with accompanying evidence for each funding source (bank statements or a certified letter from the bank) showing possession of the minimum amount listed on the affidavit.
  7. Copy of Passport
  8. If you are transferring from another US institution, you must submit a completed I-20 transfer authorization form.
  9. International students applying to a selective program at MWCC must also submit the appropriate selective program application in addition to their other requirements.

Avoid Delays - To avoid delays in processing your application, complete all items required in legible handwriting. Make sure the name on your application matches the names on your transcripts. Provide all required documentation prior to the deadline.

The Division of Access and Transition at MWCC manages programs for middle and high school students in partnership with K-12 schools. These programs, College Access, Dual Enrollment, and Early College, offer various services such as counseling, tutoring, mentoring, college tours, workshops, and activities. The services are often part of targeted grant initiatives, and many are free of charge.

All applicants for Gateway to College must attend an info session and complete the online application. Please call 978-630-9248 to sign up for an information session.

The goal of Pathways is to provide 20 high school students, per year, the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and an Associate degree while completing their junior and senior year taking courses at MWCC. The primary goal of the Educational Talent Search (ETS) grant is to assist participants to successfully complete middle and high school and enroll in postsecondary education. Middle and high school students from four local districts continue to receive support from staff at Mount Wachusett Community College.

Talent Search offers services to six hundred ninety-five (695) individuals, primarily in grades six through twelve, of whom at least two-thirds must be income-eligible and potential first-generation college students. Click to learn more.

Earn college credits through Dual Enrollment courses at MWCC. This program allows you to earn credit toward a high school/homeschool diploma and college degree simultaneously, saving you time and money toward your college degree.

Dual Enrollment offers a unique true-to-life academic college experience, allowing the student to focus on courses that will be transferable to most two-year and four-year public and private institutions, while simultaneously completing their high school graduation requirements. This application is for high school juniors and seniors who want to take college classes while simultaneously completing their high school graduation requirements. 

High School Dual Enrollment Online Application

Students enrolled at Gardner High School, Leominster High School, Fitchburg High School and Sizer School may apply for the North Central Massachusetts Early College Academy. At FHS and LHS, classes primarily take place at each high school or virtually, during the school day, and are taught by MWCC or Fitchburg State University faculty. Students at Sizer School primarily take courses with Fitchburg State University, and students from Gardner High School take courses at the MWCC campus and online.

Early College programs are also offered at Narragansett Regional High School. Early College will be offered at these high schools at no cost to students or families. Coursework is integrated into the school day, and is all part of the Massachusetts Transfer Agreement, ensuring transfer to public institutions and many privates as well.

Students will attain both high school and college credits for successfully completed courses and are eligible to attain 12 or more college credits prior to high school graduation in a defined academic pathway, such as Healthcare, Business, Education, or Liberal Arts & Sciences. There is no cost to students for these courses or the program. This program is offered in partnership with these schools and Fitchburg State University. For additional information, interested students should contact their respective guidance office at participating schools.

Selective Program Applications

MWCC is an open-enrollment college, however, some of our programs have additional requirements. We call these Selective Programs. Applicants for a selective program.

MWCC's Pre-Healthcare Academy provides 2022 and 2023 high school graduates an opportunity to gain access into MWCC's competitive health programs. High school graduates in this program who maintain a 3.0 GPA may enter the Dental Hygiene Degree, Physical Therapist Assistant Degree or Nursing Degree programs during the fall semester of their second year.
