Community Colleges for International Development

Community Colleges for International Development logoMount Wachusett Community College has recently joined Community Colleges for International Development. The organization was founded in 1976, and has been helping members further their internationalization initiatives and develop globally competent workers throughout those years. The mission of CCID parallels the mission of MWCC as we both work to develop the community and provide those opportunities for global engagement. CCID knows employers are seeking personnel that are able to thrive in the modern global workplace, and they work to establish relationships that make that possible all over the globe. We are so glad to be able to bring these resources to MWCC.

There are many free resources, programs and low cost events for faculty, students and staff and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with their offerings. We recently had 6 faculty members participate in the 2021 virtual conference, which was wildly successful in the middle of the February Texas snowstorm! These folks really are professionals and passionate about access and community, very similar to MWCC.

This membership is institution wide, so please register and log in using your MWCC email to see all of the services provided to members. One of my favorites is the advocacy page! It can be customized to fit your own needs at the local level.
