Information sessions are a great opportunity for you to learn more about our campuses and meet the staff and faculty of Mount Wachusett Community College! Together we will walk through the admissions process and application requirements.

College Planning Seminars & Financial Assistance

The North Central Opportunity Center provides free financial aid, academic and career counseling. If you need any assistance applying for college financial aid or have questions, call  978-630-9823.

Need help filling out your FASFA? You can watch pre-recorded webinars, including the FASFA Day events through the Massachusetts Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA)

General Admissions Virtual Information Session

We’ll provide an introduction all the great programs and services that MWCC has to offer! You can reserve a spot at one of our weekly information sessions and learn more about our certificate and degree programs, financial aid, transfer opportunities, and more!

This information session is most appropriate for anyone interested in general information about the college and our non-selective programs. Students interested in pursuing a selective program (nursing, veterinary, etc.) at MWCC should attend the Selective Programs Information Session which is linked further down the page.

Selective Health Programs Virtual Information Sessions (inc. Veterinary Technology)

During our selective programs information session, you will learn about the admission process for these competitive programs, the requirements for consideration and hear from faculty.

Selective Programs covered in this session are:  Nursing, Practical Nursing, LPN to RN Bridge Program, Physical Therapist Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Paramedic Technology, Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

Attendance at a Selective Programs Information Session is mandatory for those students applying for Nursing, Practical Nursing, LPN to RN Bridge Program, Physical Therapist Assistant, Dental Hygiene, and  Paramedic Technology programs. Attendance is strongly encouraged for students applying for Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

Please contact admissions at 978-630-9110 or to set up a one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor and discuss program requirements for our selective healthcare programs. This will qualify as a session attendance towards a selective program application.

All applicants must attend an info session, complete an application, and have an interview to be considered for the program.

Pre-Healthcare Academy

An opportunity for high school graduates from this year and last year to gain access to MWCC’s competitive Health programs.  Academy students who maintain certain academic credentials may enter MWCC’s Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Nursing programs during the fall of their second year.
