Information sessions are a great opportunity for you to learn more about our campuses and meet the staff and faculty of Mount Wachusett Community College!

General Admissions Virtual Information Session

We’ll provide an introduction to all the great programs and services that MWCC has to offer! Click below to reserve a spot at one of our weekly information sessions and learn more about our certificate and degree programs, financial aid, transfer opportunities, and more!

This information session is most appropriate for anyone interested in general information about the college. Students interested in pursuing a selective program (nursing, veterinary, etc.) at MWCC should attend the applicable info session below.

Selective Health Degree Programs Information Sessions

Selective Programs are:  Nursing, Practical Nursing, LPN to RN Bridge Program, Physical Therapist Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Paramedic Technology, Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

During our selective programs information session, you will learn about the admission process for these competitive programs, the requirements for consideration and hear from faculty.

Attendance at a Selective Programs Information Session is mandatory for those students applying for Nursing, Practical Nursing, LPN to RN Bridge Program, Physical Therapist Assistant, Dental Hygiene, and  Paramedic Technology programs. Attendance is strongly encouraged for students applying for Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

Health Certificate (Non-Selective) Programs Information Sessions

Health Certificate Programs include Allied Health, Dental Assisting, Human Services Technician, Medical Assisting, Medical Office, Personal Training and Substance Abuse Counseling.

During our Health Certificate (non-selective) program information sessions you’ll learn about the admissions process for the programs and our faculty and staff will answer any questions you might have.

Early College / Dual Enrollment

Learn about enrollment options for students currently in high school.

All applicants must attend an info session, complete an application, and have an interview to be considered for the program.

Dual Language Information Sessions / Sesion de información

This program offers students who are native Spanish speakers the opportunity to pursue a certificate program at the same time as taking advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. The courses in the certificate program are offered with Spanish-language support and are taught by faculty who speak Spanish.  The ESL courses help develop the professional vocabulary and language skills that will help you succeed in the certificate program.

Este programa ofrece a los estudiantes que son hablantes nativos de español la oportunidad de seguir un programa certificado al mismo tiempo que toman cursos avanzados de inglés como segundo idioma (ESL). Los cursos del programa de certificación se ofrecen con apoyo en español y son impartidos por profesores que hablan español. Los cursos de ESL ayudan a desarrollar el vocabulario profesional y las habilidades lingüísticas que lo ayudarán a tener éxito en el programa de certificación.

Pre-Healthcare Academy

An opportunity for high school graduates from this year and last year to gain access to MWCC’s competitive Health programs.  Academy students who maintain certain academic credentials may enter MWCC’s Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Nursing programs during the fall of their second year.
