Subscribe to MWCC News Mount Wachusett Community College continues its standing as a Military Friendly School for the 2023-2024 Military Friendly Cycle. MWCC Veteran Services were set specifically to address the needs of Veterans transitioning from service member to student. The staff members in MWCCs Veterans Services Office, Director Robert Mayer, and Certifying Official Sarah Savoie work closely with Military Service Members, Veterans, and their families to meet their unique needs and guide them through their academic careers at MWCC.
Director of Veterans Services Office Robert Mayer says, “I believe that MWCC is a very student-centric organization. It’s not hard for us to go the extra mile for our Veterans. It fits into our overall mission so well.”
Some of the benefits MWCCs Veterans Services Office is able to offer to its Veteran Students include priority registration, assistance with enrolling & registering for classes, benefits & financial aid assistance, a textbook loan program, peer touring/mentoring, and referrals to on-and off-campus service providers.
