MWCC Foundation to Hold Veterans Scholarship Breakfast at Great Wolf Lodge April 14

The MWCC Foundation is excited to return to in-person events this spring with the return of the annual Veterans Scholarship Breakfast.

Speakers will include alumnus Christopher Shaddock, student Andrea Giordano, and keynote speaker James Kopp a member of the US World War One Centennial Commission which established the WWI Memorial on the National Mall.

MWCC consistently ranks among the top colleges for military veterans, largely in part to the college’s Veterans Center which provides benefit assistance and other supports to veteran students.

“The Veterans Breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to recognize the work our veteran students do here at MWCC and in the community,” notes Robert Mayer, Director of MWCC Veterans Services.

The Veterans Scholarship Breakfast will be held on April 14 at Great Wolf Lodge. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at mwcc.edu/giving.

The MWCC Veterans Service Center was established to address the unique academic, financial, physical, and social needs of veterans transitioning from soldier to student. Staff are committed to providing military service members, veterans and their families with quality assistance and guidance throughout their academic careers at MWCC.

This event is presented in cooperation with our sponsors Rollstone Bank & Trust, AIS, TD Bank, Baystate Savings Bank, Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Martino, Tracy Hutchinson, and Denise Gosselin.
