Transfer to a 4-Year College or University

By the end of your Elementary Ed program, you will be ready to advance your education to work with children in elementary school and up. Many teaching professions now require a bachelor’s degree or even a master’s degree to teach, so you will save thousands by starting your education at MWCC.

After you graduate, you will be ready to transfer seamlessly into a public 4-year college or university to further your education and earn a bachelor’s degree. Our program is based on MassTransfer benefits, so you will receive transfer advantages and enter as a junior at a 4-year institution.

This program satisfies the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education Elementary Education Transfer Compact for transfer to a state college or university bachelor’s degree program.
