In partnership with the Brewer Center for Civic Learning and Engagement, the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual debate between the two candidates for mayor on June 17 via Zoom.
The candidates are Attorney Scott J. Graves, Gardner city councilor, and Michael Nicholson, town administrator for the town of Rutland and former executive aid to Mayor Mark Hawke. The debate will be moderated by Fagan Forhan, Assistant Dean, K-12 Partnerships and Civic Engagement. The event will be hosted via Zoom and recorded live, however due to guidelines for social distancing and gatherings, the event will not have an audience. The live recording will be distributed through the Gardner Educational Television the week of June 22.
