Information sessions are a great opportunity for you to learn more about our campuses and meet the staff and faculty of Mount Wachusett Community College!

MWCC offers a variety of information sessions to meet your needs, view the information below to pick the best session for your questions.

Selective Programs are:  Nursing, Practical Nursing, Advanced Standing Bridge Program, Dental Hygiene, Paramedic Technology, Veterinary Technology, Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

During our selective programs information session, you will learn about the admission process for these competitive programs, the requirements for consideration and hear from faculty.

Attendance at a Selective Programs Information Session is mandatory for those students applying for Nursing, Practical Nursing, Advanced Standing Bridge Program, Dental Hygiene, Veterinary Technology, and Paramedic Associate Degree and Certificate programs. Attendance is strongly encouraged for students applying for Radiologic Technology and Pre-Healthcare Academy.

Dual Enrollment is a terrific way to maximize your learning! Take a course to supplement your high school education or prepare for college by beginning your experience at MWCC. Join the Admissions staff and ask the questions that are important to you.

The Gateway to College program at Mount Wachusett Community College is a National Award-winning unique dual enrollment opportunity for students who either have not experienced success in the traditional high school setting or are looking for a new opportunity to excel while still in high school or home school. The program is ideal for students who have dropped out of high school or are at risk of dropping out. Gateway students have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma with the added benefit of receiving free college credits toward an associate degree or certificate through a variety of career-focused pathways.

Mount Wachusett Community College is pleased to offer the Pathways Early Experience opportunity to motivated students who would like to get a jump start on college. The goal of Pathways is to provide 20 high school students, per year, the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and an Associate degree while completing their junior and senior years taking courses at MWCC. Click to learn more about the program.

Information Sessions

Students interested in the Pathways Early College program will need to attend an information session, either in person or virtual, with a parent/guardian. Dates for the information sessions will be posted in December or early in the new year.

Interested in FREE College but looking for a residential college experience or housing close by? Join us for a CCHP Information Session to learn more about living at Fitchburg State University while attending Mount Wachusett Community College for you Associates Degree.

Information session attendance is mandatory before you can apply/be approved for housing.  Session are held virtually by Zoom, the third Tuesday of the month, 5:00pm – 6:00pm.

Human Services & Substance Addiction Counseling Preview Day

MWCC’s Human Services degree program is the ideal program for those seeking a fulfilling career empowering and serving their communities. While our Substance Addictions Counseling certificate program trains students to become a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) so they are ready to sit for the IC&RC International Examination for Alcohol & Drug Counselors (ADC). It also prepares students to take the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for Licensure of Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC II) certification exam.
