Easterseals College Navigator Program
MWCC Disability Support Services has established a partnership with the Easterseals College Navigator program to help our students with disabilities develop skills beyond the classroom to prepare them to reach their academic and personal goals.
Any MWCC student with a disability can enroll in the College Navigator program and can meet with a Navigator staff member to identify goals and develop an action plan. Weekly meetings are held either in-person (on or near campus) and/or virtually.
Support services are individualized and could include building executive functioning skills, assisting with accessing Blackboard, communicating with professors, learning memory and test-taking strategies, navigating college resources, and practicing social skills.
The best part is that there is no cost for MWCC students to participate! All College Navigator services are completely free. Currently, the Easterseals MA College Navigator program has a 90% retention rate by providing students with the additional supports they need to help them stay in college and earn their degree.
