Testing Services

Testing Services at MWCC

The mission of MWCC Testing Services is to provide the campus community with securely monitored testing venues that support the ongoing learning process.

Friends, family, and guests may not accompany test-takers into the testing room. Anyone not testing, including parents and children, must wait outside the Testing Services Office. Please read more about policies for MWCC Guests and Visitors on Campus.

Because of the close confines and size of the testing center space, Testing Services strongly encourages all test-takers to wear masks in the Center.

We offer the following Tests and Services:

Description: MWCC students with documented disabilities may take their tests with accommodation. Tests may be taken either with the professor or with Testing Services. All accommodations begin in the Disability Services Office. Student Disability Services will review your documentation and provide you with an accommodation notification letter.

  • To schedule an exam, students with approved and active testing accommodation who wish to test in Testing Services should complete the Accommodated Test Request Form

The link to this form can be accessed by contacting either DSS or Testing Services via email or phone call, or by stopping by during office hours (Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm). Completing the form ensures staff and faculty have time to gather the exam and essential information such as permitted materials.

This form should be submitted for every test/exam/quiz the student intends to take in the Testing Center and use their accommodations on. The deadline for completing this form is 3 business days prior to the requested testing date. Students who submit less than 3 business days prior may not be approved to test on their preferred date/time. Late requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Other Tests: If you are requesting accommodations for another type of test (such as Accuplacer, CLEP, TEAS, etc.) please complete the following steps:

  1. Connect with Disability Support Services to confirm your accommodation plan and ensure it is active for the date/time you plan to take this test. Accommodation is not automatically applied to non-MWCC exams.
  2. Read about the specific criteria and processes for your test by visiting the information section on the Testing Services webpage or on the official webpage for your test.

For more information:

Description: ATI TEAS is a standardized test designed specifically to assess your preparedness for health sciences. It is a required exam for admission to Associate-level programs and certificates in Nursing and Physical Therapy. The test MUST be taken at an MWCC Testing Services location; scores are not accepted from other testing sites. Scores will be accepted for TEAS tests taken 3 years before the program's application deadline.

How to Register: Register for your exam at www.atitesting.com. Please see the ATI site for current pricing. MWCC Testing Services cannot register you for this exam.

Retests: "Within a given calendar year (January 1-December 31), students may take up to three attempts to pass the entirety of the TEAS exams (Reading, Math, Science, English & Language Use). Subsequent attempts for any part or whole of the exam exceeding three within that calendar year will not be counted."

  • If you sat for your first TEAS attempt at MWCC on or after January 1, 2026, you fall under the new policy. You get three attempts to pass each portion of the TEAS exam by December 31, 2026. This policy resets each year. Test scores are still valid for 3 years.
  • If you sat your first TEAS attempt at MWCC before January 1, 2026, you continue to fall under the old rolling 365-day policy. You get three attempts within 365 days of your initial attempt to pass each section. Test scores are still valid for 3 years.

If you have any questions, please contact Testing Services at 978-630-9244 or testingservices@mwcc.mass.edu.
