Customize Your Education Your Way
With the Interdisciplinary Studies program, you can tailor your education to fit your interests and goals. You have the most flexibility of any program at MWCC, with 75% of your program being comprised of electives! This way, you can choose courses that you want to learn about, discover new disciplines, or fit your course selections into a bachelor’s degree program after you transfer.
Transfer to a 4-Year College or University
You will save thousands by starting your education at MWCC. Here, you can get your general ed courses finished in the most affordable way before furthering your education at a 4-year institution.
Prior to transferring, you should meet with an advisor or transfer counselor. The advising center will ensure your credits can be transferred properly and they can help you tailor your class choices toward a career or bachelor’s degree at a transfer school you wish to pursue.
Learn In and From the Community
In your Capstone course ISC220, you will learn from the community and learn in the community through volunteer work. Over just 30 hours of volunteering, you will gain a lifetime of valuable knowledge and skills. Through hands-on work as well as enhancing your communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, you will receive experience that will help you decide on a career path that is right for you.
